Men should take their time in the morning before tackling the day, get their bearings. They should not rush when they are shaving. This important ritual deserves respect and attention. After all, a man's face is what people will be looking at all day. A man who neglects his face does so at his peril.
Using a shaving brush and shaving soap allows a man to control the process and take his time. With shaving soap versus cream, a man can control the consistency and thickness of the lather. He can saturate the brush with soap and scrub it into the places where his face needs a little extra attention. A good badger hair brush will reach down into a man's pores and deliver the lather, working in its moisturizers and healthy ingredients while lifting the beard off the skin. A thick soapy lather will hold the hairs upright until they are ready to be shorn off at the root.
