The government has done a lot to improve education standards all over the country this includes initiatives to step up the enrollment numbers for both boys and girls. This so far has proved to be a positive step yielding positive results. There’s more success in store but it comes gradually. There has been disparity between the schools for example private and public. That’s why the government has stepped in to create a level playing field for all participants in the education sector by issuing out grants for urban schools because from an audit report, they appeared to be the least funded institutions of learning. This will also impact on the quality of education being provided for there will be availability of equipments and books, stocking of libraries and so forth. Also this move will uplift the morale of the students and teachers thereby improving the results and like earlier stated improve the intake of students from the community. If theses steps are applied in most areas we will find the standard of education improving, the economy will improve, and overall the general well being of the nation will be better. |

The Internet has dominated so much of our lives in the past decade, people can hardly remember what is was like before we could jump online to look for goods and services. There are still some good "old school" methods for marketing your business that in some cases can be more effective than Internet marketing - from roadside advertising to telesales to flyers. For a small local business it is still hard to beat good old flyer's. Putting up a flyer in a high traffic area such as a college campus or grocery store can generate a lot of customer traffic for a small business. Another good tactic is using business cards. Print up a large box of business cards. Leave them everywhere you go. Put them up on every bulletin board you see. Leave a small stack on counters in restaurants and other businesses. I once heard of a Realtor who would take a bunch of business cards to baseball games. When his team scored and the fans would jump up and cheer, he would throw a big handful in the air like confetti. Another great tactic is to find business that compliment your own and work together. I had a small business doing electrical repairs. I knew a gentleman who was a very popular carpenter. I asked him to throw any electrical work he ran across my way, and I would throw any carpentry work his way. We had a nice arrangement, and I made a lot of money from his referrals. The important thing about marketing your business is to think outside the box, and try some unconventional methods to make your business stand out. |

For many year, the public schools have been known to be poor performers in their academics. But this is not always the case for their are those public schools that perform much better than the private schools. The private schools may be known for performing better but this is not always the case because there are those that are no where when it comes to academics. A good number of the private schools are common in the high payment of fee but of low performance. They may have many interesting activities, good choice of the exams and very comfortable classes to learn in but the unfortunate beat is that they only lead in the named areas because when it comes to academics, they are no where to be seen. When such are noticed, it should be like an awakening call to many parents who spend so much in schools that do not provide the most vital things that are needed in schools. A grant for public schools should therefore be put into consideration. This is because they have proven their worth lately. |

Disputes have been overseen in the community so many times. People dispute over land issues, families, government procedures, politics and so forth. It is important that people know how to solve these disputes when they occur because if they do not know how, they might loose control and create wars between the two opposing sides. Everybody knows that dealing with others is not easy because every one has their own opinion in certain matters and they are entitled to it. You should not expect everybody to reason like you, because most of these people only want to disagree so that they find someone to argue with or something to argue about. There was a paypal item not received dispute between a client and a customer care personnel which led to the personnel loosing their job because of shouting to the customer and asking them to leave their site. You do not allow disputes to get you carried away, be in control of the situation and handle it maturely. You will soon appreciate your decision to take charge of your actions as well as thoughts. |

When the economic times are hard like these days, the only people who do not feel its effects are the people who are using their talents in earning a living. This is what is happening to my long time friends from college. After graduating from college, most of us went after white collar jobs while a group of graduands went after grassroots grants cumbria in order to participate in community development projects. This particular group ventured in power production and they started very well because their power was less costly and it was environment friendlily. After the economic recession was first felt in our country, most of us working in companies and offices lost our jobs but not my colleagues in power producing community project. In fact they are doing better everyday because people will always use energy. So many people have lost their jobs because companies cannot afford to pay for their services. The self employed and those who are in income generating projects are still going about their business as if nothing is happening to our country. I have resolved to joining my former college mates because I am not sure if I will get employment any time soon. |

Never mind working out an investment strategy to make your money grow, what if your money is currently shrinking at an alarming rate?
Professionals say pay yourself first. While that concept sounds good in theory it cannot always be done especially when you have bill collectors calling every day wanting their piece of your salary. Another theory the debt professionals tell you to practice is the snowball of debt. Using this approach you pick one of your debts and chip away at it until it is paid. Then you move onto your next debt by using your payment you paid on your last debt plus the minimum payment for your next debt. You keep doing this until such time all of your debt is gone. While this is all good in theory, you still need to have money for emergencies. I like to use the snowball debt theory by paying myself first. If I have any money left over at payday I put all of that left over money into my savings account. It may not be much but it all adds up over time. I transfer the funds electronically from my checking to my savings account. Another thing I do is every payday I get a set amount of money out for cash spending. What money I do not spend that week goes into an envelope for something that I want. When I have all the money in the envelope to buy what I set my sights on I go get it. Provided I still want the item. If I do not, I just keep the money in the envelope until such time I have an emergency or find something new to buy. |

Nothing can be more sensitive than dealing with money. When it comes to any issues that involve money, one is always careful not to make any mistake of either miscounting or sending it to a wrong person. At the end of every month I used to have trouble with overspending. The reason was: I had no good idea where my money was actually going. I just bought what I wanted, guessing that my income will be enough to cover the costs in the end of the month.
I eventually got into debt and was even consisering debt management services before a friend of mine introduced me to budgeting. Now I assign a purpose to every dollar I earn right in the beginning of the month. That way I know exactly, how my expenses are distributed and many money is left for spending on fun stuff. Even better, I'm now able to save a certain amount of money on a regular basis by allowing for it in my budget. That wasn't possible before, because I mainly played catching up with my debt. So, If you are similarly dissatisfied with your financial situation as I was, try to budget. Maybe your life will change, too. |

There was a time when some jobs were not popular. These are the times when people believed that good jobs are the ones that involved sitting in the offices. Consumer protection on purchase and ownership of property has been under heated debate recently and a few issues were passed pertaining the same. First, consumers have a right to be treated well by sellers whenever they are purchasing a property. They should be given a clear picture of how the property looks like and its exact location and if possible they should be shown the property before a deal is struck. This way consumers will know what they are purchasing and what they are paying for. A customer too deserves to be given a discount on the property they are buying. A written agreement should be given to a buyer at least a week before they sign it in order to give them time to make informed decisions. One thing for sure is that the Property Law is on its way to the parliament and once it is passed, then consumers will not be shying away from purchase of properties.
