The Merkur HD 34C is one of the best most reliable safety razors on the market. I personally have tried this out for myself and I can tell you that it provides the shave you want. You can tell the differance as soon as you pick it up for the very first time.
The cross patterned textured grip of this razor is not only innovative but also comfortable. This makes the Merkur HD 34C comfortable not just to the face but to the hand as well. You can barely feel it in your hand at all.
The Merkur HD 34C has a surprisingly easy to change blade unlike many razors of this type. I have never sliced my thumb open trying to change a blade. Simply put the the Merkur HD 34C allows you to shave with the closeness of a straight razor but with out all the hassle. The Merkur HD 34C has got to be the best razor for the money.
